The Experience
Famous for its spectacular views of the Nanda Devi massif, Kuari Pass is a classic Himalayan trek. The trail passes through ancient forests of oak and rhododendron, opening up to vast meadows (bugyals) with panoramic views of peaks like Dunagiri, Hathi Ghoda, and Neelkanth.
Itinerary
Dehradun to Joshimath
Drive through the scenic mountain roads along the Alaknanda river. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
Joshimath to Gulling Top
A short drive to Dhak village followed by a steady climb to Gulling. Camp among oak trees.
Gulling Top to Tali Top
Trek through dense forests. The trail opens up to views of Nanda Devi and Dronagiri.
Tali Top to Kuari Pass and back
The summit day. Spectacular 360-degree Himalayan views. Return to Tali Top.
Tali Top to Auli via Gorson Bugyal
Walk through vast alpine meadows. End the trek at Auli and drive back to Joshimath.
Joshimath to Dehradun
Final drive back to Dehradun with a bag full of memories.
